4th Street Area

The 4th Street Area is not only composed of houses and apartments along 4th Street, but also along that part of SE Malcolm Ave and SE Bedford St north of University Avenue, as well as the 5 houses on the north side of University Avenue between Malcolm and Bedford.

In late October, 2002, the official dedication of the Bedford Street Townhomes housing development project of our neighborhood occurred with displays of the rich history of the area dating back to the late 1800's.
